haha it was around one year ago, i was chillin with legends of iwojima. seems like so long ago.

i’ve been reading a lot of things about christmastime coming earlier and earlier ever year… notice lite105 playing christmas music before thanksgiving.

anyway, so what better way to conform with society’s norm than by purchasing a christmas tree before thanksgiving?
let me plug pippin orchard nurseries right now. that’s where i got the tree from today. good times.. they have TONS of un-cut trees that they will happily chop down for you. decent price… i got a HUGE douglas fir (touches my 9ft ceiling) which reminds me of home.

i’m too lazy to go get my camera from my car, but fear not… new pic of the week at last.

macho nacho monday resumed in its diminished form, but i am hopeful mnm will be restored to its former glory after thanksgiving. ;P

there’s nothing like a recording with a little analog hiss… everything sounds so much… purer and warmer… especially with classical music. just bought a schubert cd today. pure bliss.

so my dining escapades were slowed when i got food poisoning from BRICKWAY. never going there again… for a while. but on a happier note… found a restaurant that might supplant my esteemed fugakyu. yes, days after food poisioning, raw fish intake.. i’m a smart guy, i know. plus, wonderful 10′ meal plus good conversations (as always) at my buddy neath’s.

oishii anyone?! oishii oishii oishii! sooooo good.

haha and i had a grrrrreat time being the only korean guy this afternoon for dim sum it’s like that hit chinese show, 3 girls, 2 guys, and a korean dude. ok, maybe not.

this was one of those ‘lost weekend’ things. don’t know where the time went.. a little sleeping, a little eating.. ok a lot of sleeping.

i’m so excited thanksgiving is finally coming. i suppose i have many things to be thankful for this year. so in honor of all that i’m thankful for i will cook a big turkey! already bought most of the stuff so good times in store.. unless the turkey tastes like shit in which case… bluefin grille?? hahaha or boston market?!?!! but i am confident in my turkey basting abilities. what could be better than turkey (and stuffing and mashed potatoes w/gravy and cranberry sauce and veggies and yams and pumpkin pie) and football and tryptophan. yum.

getting REALLY excited about the holiday season as always… and this time, for the first time in providence, i can actually buy a christmas tree!!! i think i’m gonna go chop one down sometime this week.

yeah so if it seems to you, the casual observer, that my life is all about devouring great food, absorbing fantastic music, using up a tank a week+ driving around aimlessly, getting food poisoning, then i think you know me pretty well.

maybe neath knows me best haha. i wish i was kidding when i wrote that. jkjk.
