Finally have music again on my main computer. The thing is, I’ve been waiting for the PowerMacs to update before I buy a replacement for my desktop. I’ve been waiting a looong time. But I figure that an update must be close at hand, hopefully WWDC 2005 at the latest. Even if it isn’t dual dual-core G5s, I’m taking the plunge. So I’ve been buying accessories that will match my soon-to-be PowerMac G5. Just picked up the Altec Lansing FX 6021, which matches the current look cheese grater G5s. While I think the sound quality is pretty good, I enjoyed my Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Ultras a little more, which are currently residing in my bedroom and being fed music via my Airport Express. The one thing that I have noticed about these Altec Lansings is that the soundstage is HUGE. Also picked up my AppleCare warranty for a PowerMac + Display… All this, and no PowerMac… or 30 inch display. Hopefully I’ll have one ordered by June, but knowing Apple, I probably won’t get it until August…. or September.

I finally got a chance to try out the latest Splinter Cell game with my buddy Jason earlier tonight. The co-op mode is actually really fun and pretty easy to learn since one button pulls off all of the co-op moves. From what I’ve seen, there are only a few levels of co-op. Ubisoft should try to release some new missions later in Chaos Theory’s life. By the way, when you play, make sure you pull off the torpedo throw. So useful and versatile. We are the best spies ever. If you get a chance, definitely try it out.
Tomorrow I will have speakers attached to my computer again as well as having power to my external hard drive. Can’t wait. That means you won’t have to see Howie Day over on my iTunes Now Playing for much longer.

I received my Treo 650 on Valentine’s Day. Was it love at first sight?

So apparently Flickr got bought by Yahoo, as has been rumored for quite some time now. Don’t know how this will change things, but according to the Flickr blog, not much will change. I’ve been using Flickr for a while now, but it’s always hard to use it when I try to keep most of my pictures on my site. I suppose if this makes Flickr more mainstream and more of you guys start using Flickr, I’ll have more incentive to post more pictures there. I do like the system, however. For example, I sent this post through Flickr. It makes blogging pictures really easy, and I really enjoy the notes features you can display on the photo itself. Click on the photo to be taken to my Flickr page (this is the only public photo for now). You should at least try it out.
In other news, I’ve almost finished up my Treo 650 review! Just need to capture a few more screens and it should be good to go.
