Albeit a slightly embarassing victory. But victory nonetheless! Let me just say that there’s something thrilling about beating someone in an auction, especially when you beat them by A PENNY. Yes, I was buying leg warmers. What’s your problem? Anyways, the previous high bidder had apparently set his/her high bid to $25. Being the Ebay mogul that I am, I anticipated the chump’s high bid of $25 and set my maximum bid for $25.01. Yes, that’s right, buddy, that penny that you refused to pick up off the ground because it wasn’t heads, cost you the auction!
