I’ve had some major beef with the latest round of Burger King commercials. You know, the ones featuring the Burger King King? If you haven’t yet, see for yourself.

So this Burger King King has been popping up everywhere. He somehow brainwashed Hootie (Darius Rucker) into singing crappy songs about his Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, while trapping hottie Brooke Burke on a swing.

There are even commercials when some poor helpless guy wakes up in bed and finds the Burger King King lying next to him. How freaky would that be? Or the latest ones I’ve seen where some guy opens up his windows and who is standing out there, peering in? Oh yes, no one else but the King.
He pretends to be helpful by holding out his peace offering: whatever the latest concoction is from his castle of terror, be it the Tendercrisp Bacon Cheddar Ranch, the Double Meat Croissan’wich, or the Enormous Omelet Sandwich, while his cold, plastic stare pierces through your soul.

Wake up with the King? Thanks, but I’d rather not.
Let me just say that Jack is far better than the Burger King King will ever be. He’s friendly, courteous, and professional. Who would win in a fight, Jack, or the King?

What a great picture. What a lucky PSP. I think any more words would ruin this entry.

Who are you, PSP-licking girl?

New music Tuesdays… and a new Music from the OC has been released today. It’s the 4th mix from the show (3rd if you discount the Chrismukkah one). Regardless of your opinion of the show, it’s a pretty solid mix, as far as these mixes go. Highlights: Half of Frou Frou (Imogen Heap - Goodnight and Go), Beck’s Scarecrow (nice score for the mix, even though Guero has already hit stores), and my personal favorite: matt pond PA’s cover of Champagne Supernova, which you’ve definitely heard if you’ve been over to my apartment or have been sitting for any length of time in my car the past few weeks. I’m gonna be running out to stores after my exam later today to go pick it up, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing the tracks over here ——–> very soon. In show-related news, I read Death Cab will be stopping by the OC, performing at The Bait Shop soon, playing Title and Registration and The Sound of Settling! I’ve got a hunger… Off to lunch!
