Stealing bandwidth
OK, so I’ve been noticing that a lot of people have been using my images for auctions on eBay. Take for example, this cool guy, psxcar_es. First of all, he’s using my pictures to sell his v600. Whatever. But, he doesn’t even have the courtesy to a) ask, or b) upload them to his/her website. Instead, he links directly to the images themselves on my site. So, I decided to have a little fun with Paint and whip together some new images in place of the ones he was linking to. The ebay auction looks something like this now…
“Como se dice ‘retard’ en espanol?”
Anyway, if you want to go see the auction before it gets changed, go here while you can. If anyone has any ideas on how I can protect my bandwidth from people like this or some new phrases I can put in place of this images, I’d really appreciate it since I don’t want to go renaming every picture that gets linked without my permission.
