Taco Bell is once again running its “steal a base, steal a taco” promotion. Basically, if any player steals a base during the World Series, we all get free tacos. And by “we,” I mean people living in the United States, which is about 90% of you. Last year, we won free tacos thanks to Tacoby Bellsbury. Who would go to Taco Bell and just buy one taco? Great idea, Taco Bell, though not as smart as your “Yo Quiero Taco Bell” chihuahua campaign.

Mother 3 is the sequel to EarthBound (Mother 2) and was never released in the United States. It was released in Japan for Game Boy Advance in 2006 after 12 years in development. Some dedicated MOTHER fans decided to translate and localize all of the text after a perceived lack of interest by Nintendo of America to bring the game stateside. You can check out the website here. Unfortunately, the only way to play the game is by downloading a ROM and modifying it.
Today, a companion book/players guide has been released, and it looks phenomenal! This was really a labor of love. The team has modeled the characters in clay and provided illustrations for all characters/enemies. It’s available for pre-order now, costs $20, and should be shipping sometime in early January. Preorders include a hard copy of the handbook, a slick Courage Badge keychain, and early PDF copies of the chapters.
Nintendo should really thank the team for their hard work (privately, at least) or hopefully find a way to compensate them and release Mother 3 properly in a stateside release.
I preordered the handbook today after I saw how much work went into it and how amazing it looks. I can’t wait for its arrival! Good job, guys!

I was talking to one of my friends last night who I consider more tech-savvy than I am, and I told him I was taking screenshots of my iPhone screen. He was unaware of this simple trick that allows you to capture screenshots of your iPhone in JPG format.
To take screenshots of your iPhone screen:
Press the Home and Sleep/Wake button (the button on the top of the iPhone) simultaneously.

That’s it! You’ll see a temporary “flash” on the screen indicating that the screenshot was captured successfully. From there, you can go to your Photos app and email your pic or sync it as you would normally. You can take a picture from within any application, not just the home screen.
